School Assemblies

"Markie does a wonderful job in using puppets to actively engage kids in her interactive performances. Kids get involved! Her shows center around the theme of making good decisions. Her work fits in very well with our curriculum in addressing issues of drugs, friendship, behavior and character." ~ South Dakota Principal

Markie Scholz is the master puppeteer of Dragons Are Too Seldom Puppet Theatre. She has been entertaining audiences across the US and around the globe for the last 30 some years. She combines her skills as a professional puppeteer and a storyteller to weave tall tales that entertain and educate kids of all ages. Her background in theater and her masters in curriculum make her the perfect candidate for school assemblies. Her puppets range in size from 10 inches to 6 feet. Her wonderful puppet tales encourage students to be entertained and to be part of the show, helping the puppets to make wise decisions.
